There will be one more public hearing to give residents of Chaplin, Hampton, and Scotland the opportunity to ask questions or comment on the recommendations found in the recently released Addition/Withdrawal of Grades Committee report. The date of the hearing will be Tuesday, October 24. It will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Daniel D. Syme Auditorium at Parish Hill Middle/High School. If townspeople are unable to attend these hearings and wish for committee members to follow up on any of their questions, they are encouraged to e-mail their questions and comments to Rose Bisson, Region #11 Board Chair, at email@example.com. They can also mail their questions or comments to Rose Bisson, Region #11 Board Chair, c/o Superintendent’s Office, 304 Parish Hill Road, Chaplin, CT 06235. There will also be a referendum on the recommendations of the Addition/Withdrawal of Grades Committee Report on Thursday, November 16 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at each town’s respective polling places.
