	Students used digital cameras and learned to apply their photos using Adobe Photoshop where they altered them nd created a nature quilt.
	Examples of student observational drawing from still life set up in the class. Students are learning composiiton by focusing on foreground, middleground and background and focusing on the principle of design: Balance. Planning outtheir set up they use large object next to small ones and allow the eyeto move all around the work.
	Students are completing a handmade book with the theme: leaves. They have designed a minimum of 10 pages, used a binding of their own choosing, and cover that demonstrates creativity, and use of the principles of design and elements of art.
