Free Classes at QVCC

Students who will be a junior or senior this coming school year, and who have an eighty average, are eligible to take a free college class at QVCC. Student receive college credit for the course, and tuition and fees are covered by QVCC. Books and transportation costs are not covered. See Mr. Miller in Student Services for an application. There are limited slots, so interested students should apply no later than June 30th.

The Wayne Henri, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

The Wayne Henri, Jr. Memorial Scholarship is available to any Parish Hill High School senior who will be attending post-secondary school and pursuing a career in culinary arts or in the technical field. Applicants must be citizens in good standing and have demonstrated outstanding character during their high school career. Any interest in the outdoors is also a plus. See Mr. Miller in Student Services for an application. Deadline: May 25, 2012

Please support some of our Senior Capstone Projects by bringing one box of pasta for the Soup Kitchen Pasta Drive or cat food, treats and/or toys for the Animal Shelter. Eastern Connecticut State University will be hosting a Summer Institute for Future Teachers for juniors and seniors this summer from July 8th – July 27th. Additionally, Saint Joseph College is hosting a Summer Institute for Biotechnology, Health and Medical Science, Introductory Psychology and Political Pyschology from July 8th – August 2nd.
